What is semi-cured gel?

Semi-cured gel is 60% pre-cured, so it molds to your nail when you apply it. Then you cure it under LED light. That's why it lasts longer than stickers and fits better than press-ons.

What you'll need:

  • Muuni gel nail strips
  • Muuni LED lamp (or natural sunlight)
  • Nail file (included)
  • Nail scissors or nail clippers

At home gel nail strips

Step 1: PREP
Wash and dry hands. Push back cuticles and keep nails dry and oil-free.

Step 2: APPLY
Pick strip size. Peel, place near cuticle, press smoothly.

Step 3: CUT
Fold extra over tip and trim with scissors or clippers.

Step 4: CURE
Cure under LED lamp for 45 seconds (or natural sunlight for 5+ minutes).

Step 5: FILE
File tips to shape and smooth.

Pro tips: Avoid water for 2-3 hours after application for best hold. Choose a strip slightly smaller than your nail for a clean edge. For extra shine and durability, apply a top gel and cure again

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 45 seconds per nail with the front light, or 5 nails together with the side light (using the Muuni lamp). Make sure your nails are fully cured before filing.

  • Oil or water on your nails. Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them completely — especially your nails. You can also use a wet wipe or alcohol swab to remove any oils before applying.

  • Choose a strip slightly smaller than your nail, press firmly along the cuticle edge, and avoid water for 2-3 hours after application. Clean, dry, oil-free nails = longest wear.

  • Gel can stiffen in the cold. Warm them up to room temperature or between your hands — they'll soften again and apply normally.

  • Yes, but keep them in the original pouch. Gel strips react to light (UV, LED, sunlight) and will cure if exposed. Our pouch is designed to protect them from light.

  • Peel them off starting from the cuticle. If they're stubborn, soak your nails in warm water for 5 minutes, then gently lift from the edges. No acetone needed.
